a magnificent transition

This complete landscape renovation included new pathways, focal points, stone walls, many plants, and a water feature. What was previously an average backyard with wooden retaining walls, steps, and junipers is now a colorful garden with interest in all areas. Fieldstone walls now terrace the backyard perennial beds. Stone steps allow easy access to the upper backyard.

New pathways provide beautiful and functional access throughout the garden. A custom formal water feature is the focal point from the screen porch also providing a beautiful sound of flowing water. A new cedar arbor frames the entrance on the pathway as you enter the garden.

In the front yard, we removed the concrete to the door and replaced it with a tumbled paver walkway. Shrubs, perennials, and groundcover were planted providing unity throughout the garden.
