garden serenity

We worked with this client in turning an average area behind their house into a Japanese garden. As you see in the before image, we were given a clean slate to create this new garden. Our design included new pathways, perennial beds, boulder accents, and garden structures.

We built a custom Japanese Torii gate creating the entrance to this new garden space. Slate chip walkways meander through the garden with steps leading across the pond. Many shrubs, trees, and perennials were installed filling the garden with color.

The main focal point is the Japanese Tea House that we custom built for this client. This will become a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the serenity of the garden, watching and listening to the water feature.
